Advice from the Union Company states that the collier Waitomo left Newcastle at midnight on Monday with 6000 tons of coal for New Plymouth, and should arrive at this port about Saturday. It Is doubtful, however, if the vessel will berth here, as the Kia Ora is expected to arrive from Wellington on Sunday. The discharge of the Waitomo will occupy from 10 to 12 days, whilst the Kia Ora will be in port for about four days. It is therefore probable that the Kia Ora will berth first, although no definite advice has been received. KAMO DUE SATURDAY.
