LONDON WOOL SALES. MERINOS SELL WELL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright London, July 12. There was .in improved attendance and competition at to-day’s free wool sales. Germany again bought freely. The withdrawals were negligible, holders being Inclined to meet the market. The betV merinos sold well at yesterday’s full rates, while other merinos and crossbreds were unchanged. The Whare clip (New Zealand), made -up to Bd, and averaged 6d.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. WESTFIELD PRICES. Auckland, Last Night. At Westfield there was a full yarding of beef. Prices showed a further decline on last week. Extra choice ox 365, prime 34s to 30s, plain hnd ordinary 29s to 255. Cow beef met with a very slack sale, extra prime 30s, prime 27s to 235, plain 20s to 15s. Sheep.—A moderate yarding, prices being about par with those of the previous week. Heavy wethefs 25s‘, prime 24s to 22.% unfinished 21s io 18s. Lambs.—A medium yardlug, chiefly of unfinished sorts. Extra choice 27s 9d. prime 22s 6d to 18s, others 15s to Us. Calves.— A small yarding, prices not be-: ing so good. Runners £6 to £5, vealers £4 to £2 10s, fresh dropped 8s to ss. Pigs.—A good yarding and a brisk sale right through. Bnconers £6 10s to £5 10s, choppers £6 5s to £5, porkers £3 to £2 15s. STOCKS AND SHARES. Auckland, Last Night.
