Purdy (ban-tam-weigtt), M. Hatton (feather-weight), H, May (light-weight), aud D. Meale (middleweight). SOUTHLAND TEAM FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS. Invercargill, Last Night. The following team tas been selected to ; represent the Southland Boxing Association at the New Zealand championships at Greymouth on July 28, 29, and 30:—Featherweight, W. J. Sycamore; light-weight, V. L. Cox; welter and middle, M. T. Neylon; heavy-weight, E. Gait. PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. Tlmaru, Last Night. In the feather-weight professional cimmpionfltip of New Zealand, L. Robinson (Gisborne), beat H. Gunn (Timaru), in a 4-rounds knock-out. The professional welter-weight contest, W., Shutt (Tlmaru) v. 11. Withoy (Dunedin)’, was awarded to Shutt on a foul in the first round by a blow while on his knees.
