TREATING LEPERS.

NEW FORM OP TREATMENT. By Te’.cgrspb—Press Association Christchurch, Last Night. The six lepers at Quail Island are undergoing a new form of treatment, and a good deal of interest is being taken in the results. The treatment consists of interjections of a collodial form of antimony tartarate, which has been found in other eases to lessen the effect on the skin rapidly, <tnd to promote the general well-being of the patient. The patients on Quail Island are men. One of them has the disease in a fairly acute form, but all stages of the disease are represented, and there are some wises of long standing. The new treatment does not ensure a certain cure, jut is certain to prevent patients from tiding ground.
