The Inglewood cribbage tournament W s continued last week in rather a disjointed- way. Two teams played on Thursday, two p)iyp>d on Saturday and' the other two did not play at all. The scores for the playing teams were: Egmont Village 23 v. Foresters 22; Fire Brigade 27 v. Lincoln Road (AVaitoriki) 18: The Other Clubs, Bowlers and Druids, did not play their round.
There was an unusually large attendance at Newton King, Ltd.’s mart sale on Saturday, when several lots advertised were offered and sold well. Prices realised were, amongst others: Ploughs, £5 and £7; farm horse, £25 10s; pigs, promiscuously entered, 16s for slip, 31s for young sow; poultry, cocks and hens from Is fid to 3s, geese ss.
