THE HON. C. J. PARR.
VISIT TO TARANAKI. The Minister of Education and Health (the Hon. C. J. Parr) arrived in New Plymouth yesterday morning. He spent the afternoon in company with members of the Taranaki Board in visiting the schools in the town and la-ter discussed with the board the question of additional facilities. A further deputation waited on Mr. Parr last night in connection with school matters. To-day Mr. Parr will open the Hawera, Show. He leaves New Plymouth this morning and will proceed via the coastal districts and Opunake.
