VOTES ON AGREEMENT.

' Six thousand miners at Wigan rejected the settlement and instructed their delegates to vote against acceptance. They described the national executive as traitors who had surrendered to terms which would mean slavery. Received July 1, 10.15 p.m. London, June 30. The miners of Staffordshire, Worcestershire, South Wales and Leicestershire have accepted the settlement, although in several instances meetings denounced the executive for flouting the recent ballot.
Lancashire, Cheshire and Bristol districts rejected the terms. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
