VITAL STATISTICS.
DECREASE IN BIRTHS. The return of births, deaths and marriages for June in the district of Ne\< Plymouth as supplied by the registrar (Mr. J. 8. S. Medley), show that, compared with the corresponding period o£ last year, births decreased by 10 and deaths by 6, whilst the number of marriages increased by one. The totals foil the six months ended June 30, show 215 births, 74 deaths and 87 marriages/ Details are:—
