An unknown man, aged about thirty, supposedly ntlfiled Alexander Scott, died in the Wagga hospital after an operation. He mentioned that hia sister lived in New Zealand. HOTEL CLOSING HOURS. The Licensed Victuallers’ Association has decided not to finance a test case to ascertain whether hotels are entitled to remain open till eleven at night after Thursday next, stating that six o’clock I closing is satisfactory. The question has arisen as the Liquor __ Amendment Act of 1919 provides that a* ballot must be taken before June 13 on the question of hours of closing and prohibition THE LABOR CONGRESS. * Sydney, June 28. The New South Wales delegate io the unions congress have returned to Sydney. It is explained as an outcome of the congress an effort will be made to reconcile all the diverse elements of the workers on common interests, allowing each to retain its individual identities on particular matters.
