GOOD SALVAGE PROSPECTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 28. The gale and sea having subsided, the prospects of saving the barque Rona, which is on the rocks off Seatoun, are considered good. There are 14 inches of water in the hold. The coal cargo is being removed into lighters. TOWING COMMENCED. Wellington, Last Night. The tug Pelican, assisted by the Baden Powell, towing late to night, moved the stranded barque Rona about twelve feet, and were still towing at 11.45 p.m. The Fort Dorset searchlight aided the work.
