Mr. Herbert Bourke, writing In the Sunday Evening Telegram, protests against the Lycett match not being stopped. It Is stated Lycett was suffering from a touch of sunstroke. He may have been plucky, but he had to be nursed by constant sponging of tis head, which was unfair to Shimidzu. Towards the end there were frequent cries from the spectators pf “play” and “get on with It,” and if Shimidzu had been beaten there would probably have been an unruly scene.
