There wns fine weather and a largo attendance for the third day of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's winter meeting to-day. The tctalisator put through £28,8G8, as compared with £36,458 on the third day last year, a decrease of £7590. During the meeting £76,908 was put through the totallsator as against £95,097 at the last meeting, a decrease of £18,149. Results:— HUNTERS’ STEEPLES. Two miles.—Tigeriand 1, Tornea 2, Talhape 3.
