TARANAKI POULTRY FANCIERS.

SUCCESSES AT MANAWATU SHOW. (From Our Special Reporter.) Palmerston N., Juno 23. Taranaki poultry farmers were as usual very well represented at the Manawatu Poultry Show and secured a considerable number of prizes. In Andalusians, W. Hall (Lepperton) secured a first for a cock. In White Leghorns (American), J. Urlich (Hawera) scored very freely with four firsts, four seconds and two specials. In Black Orpingtons, W. Scott scored two firsts, a special and a third, and F. Hawkings (Waitara) a second. In Silver Wyandottes, J. Urlich secured three firsts and W. Hall three thirds. In Gohlen Wyandottes, W. Hall scored four firsts, four seconds and a special. In White Wyandottes, J. Urlich obtained a first. In Columbieus, W. Hall scored three firsts. In Plymouth Rocks, W. Hall scored a first, two seconds and a third, and J. Urlich a second and a third. In White Plymouth Rocks J. Urlich secured two firsts and two thirds. In America Barred, W. Hall took three firsts and a third. \ In Rhode Island Reds F. Hawkings scored a second. In Campines F. Hawkings and W. Hall each scored a first. In the Utility section, Brown Leghorn, J. N. Eva (New Plymouth) scored a first, a second and a third. In Black Orpington W. Scott scored a third. In the pigeon classes H. J. (New Plymouth) obtained five firsts, a second and two thirds.
