The club had increased both its membership and Its property, and the prospects for further extensions were very good. The purchase of the property for the new green had not been made too soon, as the Saturday half-holiday was now established In New Plymouth, and this fact had increased the number of Saturday players on the green, and he was sure that one green would not have provided adequate accommodation for the players. The thanks of the club were due to tl’ose who assisted In the making of the new green, also the secretary (Mr. (’. Carter), who during the last year had been the heart and soul of the club, and who had given his services willingly in the club's interests.
