A BIG MOTOR COMBINE.

“Charleston, W. Va., May 9, 1921. Capitalised at 40,000,000 dollars, the Maxwell Motor Corp., with chief offices in this city, has been granted a charter of incorporation. Chief works of the corporation are to be in the State of Michigan. The charter is the first step in the reorganisation of the former Company which manufactured Maxwell cars. Of the entire capital stock, 200,000 shares have a par value of 100 dollars each, and 800,000 shares have a total value of 20,000,000 dollars.” (The above appeared in the last issue of the American Motor World. A cablegram received in New Zealand direct Ifrom the Maxwell factory states that the reorganisation and amalgamation of the Maxwell and Chalmers Motor Companies has now been completed.)
