ABATTOIRS DISPUTE.
DEADLOCK AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The deadlock in the abattoirs dispute continues, and neither party shows any inclination to give way. No ajrplications were forthcoming to an advertisement calling for men for the abattoirs and the master butchers continue to do their own killing. A meeting of the men on strike was held at Otahuhu, and at the conclusion one of them expressed the determination of the party not to resume under conditions other than those embodied in the agreement drawn up by the parties about two years ago.
