HAMILTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, June 21. Martin Joyce and John William M‘Corkindale pleaded, guilty to breaking into a butcher’s shop and stealing meat. Joyce was placed on probation for two years, and M/Corkindale sentenced to three years’ reformative treatment. The trial of Hakaia Te Kaha for the murder of Richard Elliott, of Ongaroto, commenced this afternoon, and is ei'pected to last several days. GISBORNE SESSIONS. Gisborne, June 21. In the Supreme Court the jury, on the Judge's direction, acquitted George Hall, on a charge of cattle stealing.
