The Kamona (1425 tons) arrived from Westport yesterday morning with 1000 tons of coal, but. is unable to berth until after the departure of the Kawatiri, which should sail about 11 a.m. to-day. WAITOMO TO SAIL. The Waitomo did not sail yesterday, hut is expected to get away to-day at 8.30 a.m. for Newcastle. WAIOTAPU WITH BENZINE. The U.S.S. Company's Waiotapu has arrived at Auckland from San Francisco, and will come to New Plymouth to discharge lumber and benzine after calling at Napier ana Wellington. After discharge here the vessel Is to proceed to Lyttelton and Australian ports. OPUA FROM TARAKOHE. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., advise that, tne Opua is scheduled to load cement at Tarakohe for New Plymouth, and will arrive here about July 2. SUFFOLK ARRIVES. The Suffolk arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning and anchored in the stream to await the vacation of the berth by the Waitomo this morning. ’ The loading of the Suffolk Is expected to occupy two or three days, and when completed she will sail for Wanganui. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa is expected on the usual run from Onehunga this morning. She returns north to-night. OVERHAULING THE PARITUTU. The New Plymouth Harbor Board's dredge Paritutu, which has been tuidergoing a general overhaul on the Wellington patent slip, was to be brought off yesterday afternoon. Further work in Wellington Is expected to occupy some days yet. EASTERN CROWN AT AUCKLAND. The U.S. and A. Line steamer Eastern Crown arrived at Auckland on Saturaay, cargo-laden from New York via Panama. Dalgety and Co. advise that, as the vessel has to call at Napier nejfc, she will not reach Wellington until the 30th Inst. THE CORINNA’S MASTER. Captain C. Elders has joined the Corinna as master, vice Captain F. H. Edge. PAKEHA LEAVES LONDON. The S.S. and A. Line are in receipt of cabled information that the Pakeha left London on Thursday for Wellington and other New Zealand ports. She has passengers aboard, and 13 due at Wellington about July 31.
CANADIAN GOVERNMENT LINE. The Canadian Winner was due yesterday at Auckland from Vancouver, and will later sail for Australia. She is to return to Auckland afterwards. ) A Press Association message has reported the Canadian Planter as having sailed from Brisbane for New Zealand. As a matter of fact, fiowever, she left that port for Melbourne, and will go to Sydney before coming to New Zealand. She is due at Lyttelton about July' 4, and will load there and at Wellington and Auckland. The Canadian Planter is timed to sail from Auckland for Boston and New York about July 22. A FORMER GERMAN LINER. A London message states that the Armus, which was formerly the German liner Zeppelin, has inaugurated a series of Norwegian cruises preparatory to entering the Australian Orient service in November.
