DEBTS TO AMERICA.
ALL OBLIGATIONS TO BE MET. FIXING METHOD OF PAYMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 19, 5.5 p.m. Washington, June 18. Cabinet had an all-day sitting considering the funding of foreign financial obligations. Cabinet favors the conversion of pormissory notes into long term bonds, the interest to be fixed later, the American public to be permitted to subscribe when the European debt is stabilised. Cabinet has definitely decided that the obligations cannot be forgiven, but Cabinet is trying to fix the easiest method of payment with justice to American creditors. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
