U.S. PRESIDENT’S PLAN. ASSOCIATION OF POWERS. IGNORING LEAGUE OF NATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 19, 5.5 p.m. Washington, June 17. The United Press Washington correspondent learns from Administration quarters that President Harding has requested an unnamed person to draft a plan for an association of nations, which is now complete. It is constructed around & codification of international law for the establishment of a world tribunal. The present League of Nations is ignored. It is stated there will be no haste in broaching the idea, President Harding preferring to wait until the European situation clears. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
