THE CURRENT QUOTATIONS. VARYING PRICES. It was recently reported that a Wa* nganui firm had received a quote of £2l l(te e.i.f. main ports per ton for fencing wire. In the course of conversation with a Daily News reporter a prominent Plymouth merchant remarked that this price was by no mean* indicative of the ■ true state of the market.
