A. AND P. BALL.
The first annual ball of the Stratford A. and P. Association, held last night in the Town Hall, was a pronounced success. In spite of the extremely inclement weather, which nndoubtedTy prevented a large number from attending, the hall was well filled, and, complete arrangements having been made for the occasion, everything passed off excellently. The hall was beautifully alecorated with greenery and bunting and the lighting effects were very pleasing. Fox’s orchestra supplied lire music and the M.C.’s, Messrs. E. H. Linnell E. M. Clarke and P. Aitken, kept things moving until the small hours. The function was the success of the season, and credit is due to the enthusiastic committee for offering such a pleasant evening’s enjoyment.
