“A BAD TIME AHEAD” By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Council of Education to-day Mr. W. A. Banks, speaking from the producers’ point of view, said we had a bad time ahead. There were certain kiudri of meat which it was not worth while sending Home, and they would be better to buy them. Mr. R. McCallum: “The same with wool.” . Mr. Banks said that whereas we had been receiving about 2s 6d for our buttei) we would probably get about Is 8d int the near future.
