LONDON MARKETS. BUTTER AND CHEESE QUIET. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date June 10: — "Butter.—Market quiet and inclined to go lower; Danish 198 s, New Zeeland 194 s to 1965, Australian 162 s to 1745. "Cheese.—Market weak and tending downwards ; New Zealand, colored 104 s to 108 s, white 106 s to 110 s. "Wool. —-Next public sales will take place on July 12; list of arrivals closed May 23. The following ships we|e in time:—Charon, Pakeha, Walwera, Cyclops, Dorset, Devon, Kumftra, Medic, Gorgon, Zealandic, and Australpool. Maximum to be offered 160,000 bales, including 80,000 bales of Punta Arenas and ' 1600 bales of Cape. This makes quantity of free Australasian wool to be offered 75,000 bales.” Messrs. W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., hava cabled to Messrs. A. H. Turnbull and Co. under date London, June 10, as follows: "To-day's quotations: Danish butter 198 s to 2025, New ZealaAi butter 194 s to 198 s, market slow; New Zealand cheese, white 110 s to 116 s, colored 106 s to 112 s; market slow.”
