The Union Company’s Corinna, which had been held up at Nelson on account of the rough weather, arrived in New Plymouth yesterday at 1.30 p.m. with 850 tons of cargo. The vessel is expected to leave to-day fpr Wellington and Dunedin. THja RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday. Besides passengers the vessel brought 126 tons of general cargo, including 38 tons of sugar and 30 tons of cement. She left on the return trip at 8.20 last night.

NGATORO TO-DAY. The Ngatoro (Messrs’. Collett and Co.) left Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday and is expected here about noon to-day. She is bringing 550 tons of coal for this port, and 'will probably get away to-morrow afternoon. KAWATIBi'fROM WELLINGTON. Advice from the Union Company states that the Kawatlri, which is at present loading cargo at Wellington for New Plymouth, is due here on Friday from the southern port. SUFFOLK DUE SUNDAY. The Suffolk (8833 tons), which Is to load produce at New Plymouth, is due here on Sunday. R.M.S. MABAMA. The R.M.S. Marama has advised by wireless that she how expects to arrive at Wellington from San Francisco at 10 a.m. to-day. CARGO FROM HOME. The C. and D. Line advise that the steamer Port Bowen is now loading at Glasgow, and will complete at Liverpool, for New Zealand ports. The vessel is to leave Home about to-morrow. The Port Lyttelton will sail from London about July 6 for Auckland, Wellington, and if sufficient cargo is offering, also for Napier. WESTRALIA FROM MELBOURNE. The Huddart, Parker Company advise that their inter-colonial passenge? steamer Westralis Is to sail from Melbourne to-day direct for Wellington, where she is due on Monday. WIRELESS FROM WEST WIND. Dalgety and Co. have received a wireless message from the U.S. and A. Line steamer West Wind, from New York, stating that the vessel will arrive at .Auckland next Tuesday. After putting out part cargo at Auckland, (J:e vessel will go to Wellington, where she is due about the 30th instant. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s steamer Manuka arrived at Wellington on Monday from Sydney. Her cargo includes transhipments ex Roggervan (from Samarang), Metcalf, Malwa, Arawatta, KanoWna, Zealandic, Karitane (from Tasmania), AVakatipu (from Tasmania), Bessa (’from United Kingdom), Ormonde (from United Kingdom), Suva (from Fiji). JACKSON'S HEAD LIGHT OUT. The Collector of Customs at New Plymouth has received the following telegram from the Marine Department: "Jackson’s Head light Is reported out. It will be re-llghted as soOn as possible.” PESHAWUR AT WELLINGTON, i The P. and O. Company’s new cargo steamer Peshawur ■ arrived at Wellington on Monday in ballast, from Barry (Wales), via Hampton Roads (U.S.A.), and Panama. The Peshawur, which conies to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, is to load at New Plymouth and Wellington for London. The date of her arrival at New Plymouth is uncertain. Captain G. Phillips, who is in command, informed a New Zealand Times representative that the Peshawur went to Barry to load coal for New Zealand, but owing to the strike at Home coal Was not available.; The Peshawur therefore left Barry in ballast on April 16. and had a moderate weather run across to Hampton Heads, where bunkers were replenished. The. vessel then proceeded via Panama to Wellington. The Peshawur, which is a sister ship to the Woodarra, has ail her holds insulated. She a twin-screw cruiser-stern steS vessel 7343 tons gross, and 4970 tons net, built and engined in 1919 by Barclay, Curie and Co., Ltd., Glasgow. The vessel has refrigerated cargo space for 100,000 freight carcases. Her principal dimensions are:— Length 449 ft. sin., beam 58ft. 2'n„ depth 37ft. lln. The Peshawur is now making only her second voyage. Her first trip was from London to Bombay, Calcutta, Australia, and Imftk Some again.
