In furtherance of a scheme to erect a public hall at Stanley Road, a public meeting will be held in the Stanley Road School on Friday, and a good attendance is requested to consider ways and means of promoting this object. At the tennis ball to lie held in the Douglas Hall on Monday, June 20, there will be a waltzing competition, while a raffle will also be drawn. The music will be supplied by Mrs. Bianchi’s orchestra, and patrons are promised a pleasant evening’s entertainment. Your stationery requirements are well catered for by Wilson Bros., Stratford, who have a comprehensive stock of all office requisites and typewriter supplies. Here are a few good commercial lines: Pilot letter files, 3/G each; wire document baskets, 4/6 each; desk blotting pads, 4/9 and C/-; first-grade typewriter carbon, foolscap size, 15/- box.
