MOTORING FATALITY.

CAR GOES OVER BANK. By Telegraph.—Press Asan.—Copyright. Dannevirke, June 8. A fatal motor-car accident occurred near the Tahoraite railway station late yesterday afternoon. William Beatty, aged 40, and his brother-in-law, Peter Hay, were returning to Terehunga from Dannevirke, whither they had been to get medicine for a sick child, when the car capsized over a small bank, Beatty being killed, outright. Beatty, who was one of the original settlers .of Terehunga, leaves a widow and young child. Hay, who suffered a dislocated shoulder and abrasions to the head and face, is now in hospital. The cause of the mishap is unknown.
