WIRE-CUTTING IN LIVERPOOL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 6, 5.5 p.m. London, June 6. In connection with the wire-cutting outrage in the Liverpool district, a policeman found three hiding in the Watertree depot, where there were several tanks, each containing thousands of gallons of petrol. The men fired at the constable, who retaliated, and then they fled. Sinn Feiners, while executing an extensive wire-cutting outrage in the Liverpool district, were seen on top of the poles, but escaped before the police came up. One hundred telegraph and telephone wires were put out of action.
