At a meeting of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce the chairman drew attention to representations recently made by the Taranaki Chamber advising Wanganui that it was cheaper to tranship goods frqjn New Plymouth than Wellington. The chairman quoted figures to prove that this contention was entirely wrong and it was decided to send a reconstructed set of figures tq Wanganui.
