Tilden, who has been hard pressed several times during the International hard court championships nt Paris, beat Washer (Belgium) in the final 6—3, 6—3, 6—3. The scores do not represent the evenness of the play. Mademoiselle Lenglen beat Mrs. Mallory in the ladies’ final 6—2, 6—3. LADIES’ DOUBLES. In the finals of the international hard courts tennis championship ladles’ doubles, Mdlle. Lenglen and Madame Golding beat Miss riolmun and Mrs. Peacock two sets to nil.
