MILITARY BALL.
A BRILLIANT FUNCTION. Overhead there was a profusion of flags and electrical decorations, and all bore evidence of the careful preparations for the function carried out by the committee. One of the annexes had been laid out a* a supper room, and here too the decorations were a feature. Colored streamers were arrayed in festoons from the ceiling, and the tables were also tastefully set.
