YESTERDAY’S “TOTE” FIGURES. INCREASES AT ALL CENTRES. The totalizator figures at all the principal race meeting® in New Zealand yesterday show a marked increase when compared with the returns for the corresponding day last year. The meetings were held at Auckland, Otaki, Christchurch and Dunedin, and the total amount invested was £217,721 10s. In the case of Otaki a comparison with last year is not given, but the total for Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin yesterday is £192,711 10s, compared with. £163,076 10s last year. The details are: Auckland, £98,043 10s (1920, £82,204 10b) ; Christchurch, £47,779 10s (£38,691 10s); Dunedin, £46,888 10s (£42,180 10s); Otaki, £25,010; totals, £217,721 10s (1920, £163,076 10s).
