A WIDOW’S DEATH.
INJURED BY TAXI-CAB. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Harriet Goldsmith, 66 years old, a widow residing at 98 Pirie Street, was accidentally knocked down by a taxi-car in Courtenay Place at 5.15 thiti evening. She sustained severe injuries to the face and head, and died at 8.30 pjnj., following an operation at the hospital. It is believed her sons reside at Auckland and Nelson respectively.
