TEN YEARS’ GAOL WITH FIVE MORE TO REFORM. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, June 2. In the Supreme Court Allen and Donovan on a charge of burglary, were sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment to be followed by five years’ detention for reformative treatment. The judge said the greatest credit was due to the brave constables R. Wilson and O’Donoghue, who successfully arrested the prisoners. Thompson Bros, had also displayed commendable pluck in assisting the police. Thomas Patrick Cuttie, convicted of having received articles knowing them to be stolen, was sentenced, to 12 months’ imprisonment.
