THE CONGESTION OF CASES. ' By Telegraph.—Press Assn Received June 2, 6.10 p.m. London, June I. Mr. Justice Birkenhead, in the Divorce Court, reviewing the congestion of cases, said ninety-five per cent, of the arrears were due to the influences of the war, the wife’s lapses always dating from the time the husband joined up. Unless he was misjudging the social tendencies, we were not likely to return to the pre-war position. The change in social habits had made more divorce Judges necessary.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
