AWARDS IN BUTTER CLASSES TARANAKI COMPETITORS. The following awards in the butter classes at the Waikato Winter Show will be of interest in Taranaki: King George Challenge Cup (box of butter suitable for export; open to factories having creamery registration). — Golden Bay won with 95 points. Tariki .scored 90 ’ and Moa Farmers 89. A. J. Mills Challenge Cup (butter suitable for export; open to all factories). —Konini won with 94|. Tariki scored 90; Marokopa 81); Moa Farmers 88. Butter, for export, manufactured under most favorable conditions.—Hikurangi won with 95; Tariki and Moa Farmers 90.

Butter for local trade.—Levin won with 94J. Tariki 89 and Moa Farmers 884. Factory-made butter, by factories taking home-separated cream only.— Bay of Plenty won with 95; Aria 931; Tarata and Marakopa 894. Butter, made by butter-maker or factory manager’s assistant.—Bay of Plenty won with 94|; Tariki, 914; Moa Farmers 89.

Butter, open to makers who have never won a first prize at Waikato Winter .Shows. —Thames Valley (Paeroa) won with 95; Marakopa 914; Moa Farmers 89. 4

Butter, open to the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers’ Association. —Bay of Islands won with 95; Tariki 91; Moa Farmers 89.

Sharpie’s Separator Challenge Cup (open championship of New Zealand). — Bay of Plenty won with 944 points; Tariki 914; Moa Farmers 904.
