ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUICIDE OF SETTLER’S WIFE. By Telegraph —Press Association. Pahiatua, Last Night. The inquest concerning the death of Mary Connell, wife of James Connell, a settler, of Konini, disclosed the fact that deceased suffered seriously from insomnia for a considerable period. She remarked that she was tired of life as a result of her being unable to sleep. The coroner returned a verdict of suicide while in a state of mental depression.
