DEPORTATION FROM CANADA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 31,-8.10 p.m. Vancouver, May 30. Grattan Esmonde was found guilty of making a seditionl utterance, and sentence was suspended on condition that he departs immediately for England.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Received May 31, 10.30 p.m. Vancouver, May 31. Mr. Justice Monts has forwarded his consideration in Esmonde’s favor. The jury recommended that the sentence be deportation and that Esmonde give an undertaking to leave the country. He was permitted to leave the court, and will proceed to an eastern port en route to England immediately. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
