The annual meeting of the Southern Hawke’s Bay Provincial Farmers’ Union supported the proposal of the Poverty Bay provincial executive urging the Government to take steps prohibiting trusts and big combines operating in Dominion produce, particularly Armour and Co. and Vestey Bros.
