IMMEDIATE RELEASE DEMANDED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received May 24, 8.5 p.m. Sydney, May 24. A public meeting addressed by a couple of clergy and ten others, adopted a resolution that the Crown failed to prove the case against Mrs. Farr, and her immediate and unconditional release was therefore demanded. It was also resolved to ask the Government to repeal the present Lunacy Act and pass a more modern and equitable measure. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
