Lisbon telegrams state troops are assembled in the city for the purpose of frustrating a Radical movement to depose President Almeida and instal Premier Machado as President. The troops cent a message to the Premier demanding Cabinet’s resignation, and Cabinet resigned instead of summoning its military supporters, as it desired to avoid bloodshed.
