In the second round he went out in 38 with three fives, five fours, and one three, getting home in 34—-seven fours and two threes. His play in every department was almost monotonously faultless, except at the sixteenth hole, when a. 250 yards drive found a bunker, leaving a four-foot putt. He was unlucky at the eighteenth green by lipping the hole. , Received May 22, 5.5 p.m. London, May 21. Kirkwood did the third round in 72, and the final in 78. Cable Assn. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A bogey handicap for Mr. C. H. Weston's trophy was frlayed on the New Plymouth Club's links on Saturday, and resulted in * win for W. H Quickfall, 3 up on bogey. The best scores were: W. H. Quickfall (14), 3 ui>. W. H. Robertshaw (3), 1 up J. Austin (8), all square. D. H. Butcher (3), 1 down F. S. Johns (3), 1 down. A. Bewley (3), 3 down. S. Burgess (11), 2 down.
