CHARGES AGAINST INSURGENTS. Berlin, May 19. Silesian landlords, who are seeking sanctuary, tejl strange stories of the cruelty of Korfanty’s troops. A mixture of bribery and terrorism is directed against those who voted in the plebiscite in favor of Germany. It is stated that a schoolmaster was stripped naked and tortured to death. Throughout the country the insurgents plundered and looted, burning stores and destroying villages. Families returning to their chateaux found them ransacked, the furniture smashed, pictures ripped, and stock stolen.
