PATEA’S BOUNDARIES.
The Patea Club wrote asking that old boundaries be adhered to, as at present some members within the old Patea Club district were playing in clubs under the Wairoa Sub-Union. The old boundary commenced at the mouth of the Patea River, but then ran back to the Whenuakura River, and from there to the Kohi Road opposite the Waverley racecourse. —It was resolved to inform the Patea Club that the boundary is the Whenuakura River. QUESTION OF AGE LIMIT. In accordance with notice of motion, Mr. McLeod moved in the direction of the age limit in the fourthgrade to provide that genuine school boys who hpve passed their eighteenth birthday could continue to play in the fourth grade. The idea was to permit two boys at the New Plymouth Technical College who had reached 18 years to continue, to play. Members generally considered that it was inadvisable to make any exceptions. It was pointed out that schools already had an advantage over other teams, in as much as they could get proper coaching. The motion was defeated. GENERAL.
