THE GISBORNE COLLISION.

DAMAGE TO FARMERS’ BOAT. By Telegraph.—Press Association Gisborne, Last Night. A farther examination shows that the stem of the Admiral Codrington can easily be temporarily repaired to enable her to go Home. The stem is twisted and bulged out on both sides, but only the first row of plates on each side are affected. The damage starts at the red •'fater-llnc, and goes down about twelve feet. Very little water has been made, and it is not troublesome. The damage is somewhat similar to that inflicted on the Waimate when the Arahura collided with her.
