ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE PEOPLE’S.

VIOLA DANA IN “DANGEROUS TO MEN.”

Viola Dana in “Dangerous to Men” is announced as the feature attraction at the People’s Theatre, for a run of two nights, beginning to-night. “Dangerous to Men” is an adaptation by A. P. Younger from H. V. Esmond’s stage drama, “Eliza Comes to Stay,’’ which had a big run in London when it was produced there with Mr. Esmond and Eva Moore in the leading roles. It is the most ambitious production of Miss Dana’s career, and she is said to have found her favorite role as the school girl Eliza, who is thrust, at the age of 18, into a bachelor’s household, where, although she has taken every precaution to make herself “safe” from men, she suddenly finds that she has the power to make herself dangerous. The bill includes gazette, comedy, and “Elmo” No. 17.

EVERYBODY’S.

LAST NIGHT OF “BAB’S CANDIDATE”

Popular and delightful Corinne Griffith does the finest work of her career in “Bab’s Candidate,” a Vitagraph feature concluding to-night at Everybody’s. It is the amusing story of politics, a man and a girl. How the girl puts her fiancee out of Parliament and the town crier in makes an interesting film adventure romance. The bill includes gazette, comedy, travel, and ‘ Bride 13” No. 2. To-morrow’s change presents “The Brand of Lopez,” a Robertson Cole super-production featuring Sessue Hayakawa.
