MARRYATT PLEADS GUILTY.

OVER £3OOO INVOLVED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, May 18. At the Magistrate’s Court, Arthur Marryatt pleaded, guilty to stealing between September 1, 1920, and May 4, 1921, the sum of £3575 Ils 3d, the property of the New Zealand Government Life Insurance Department, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was allowed in the sum of £lOOO, and two sureties of £750 each. The police said Marryatt had given them every assistance.
