Received May 17, 10.40 pjn. New York, May 17. It is authoritatively learned that the French Government is seeking another loan in the United States. The amount and terms are not yet settled. Mr. J. P. Morgan confirms the report that the French Treasury bills outstand, ing in the United States are less than 10,000,000 dollars, compared with 75,000,000 dollars in October last. France has paid 215,000,000 dollars to the United States in the last six months.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
