HUNTING.

OPENING TO-MORROW.

The North Taranaki Hunt will hold its official opening hunt to-morrow at Mr. F. Sampson's property, Sentry Hill. The throw oft will be delayed until 2 p.m. to give visitors from town and the surrounding districts ample time to get there. The new huntsman, Mr. L. Pepperill, has the hounds in splendid fettle, and if a hare can be found handy visitors may rely on seeing some good sport and jumping. Those who have hftd the pleasure of attending Mr. and Mrs. Sampson's bunts in the past will not forget the unbounded hospitality with which they were met, and with the weather promising to be Ideal, a record gathering for the hunt should be registered.
