TORRENTIAL RAIN FALLING.-
A TOWN IN DANGER.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received May 16, 8 p.m. Sydney,* May 16. Floods on the north coast are spreading, torrential rain having fallen since Friday. All low-lying areas are inundated. Flood boats are patrolling. Fears are felt for the safety of South Maitland, where the creeks are running bank high, and heavy stock losses are feared.
